Nawarathna Kandangama is a lecturer attached to the Department of Agricultural Economics and Business Management, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. He earned his BSc degree in Agricultural Technology and Management and MSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of Peradeniya. He also possesses a MA degree in International Development from the International University of Japan, Japan. He also holds an Associate in Banking (AIB) from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka. Nawarathna began his career at a development bank and later shifted to the academia.
